Yoga - The Art of Relaxation
Yoga is a gentle form of exercise that completely relaxes
and harmonizes your body, mind and soul. The practice of some
asana postures will revive your physical and spiritual energies.
Our Yoga Master conducts classes every Wednesday morning that
we invite you to participate in.
Ayung River Trek
This one and half hour trek will commence from the lobby where
we will lead you on a guided tour through the local community
and explore the surrounding nature of the tranquil countryside.
The trek journey is through terraced rice fields that are harvested
by Balinese farmers and on towards the banks of the gentle
Ayung River. You might possibly come across local villagers
doing their laundry, bathing or just soaking their weary bodies
in the river water after a day working the fields. The trek
concludes in a distant part of the village where local artists
have set up small galleries to display their own traditional
paintings. It is possible to stop en-route to admire the artistry
or purchase anything that captures your interest.
Ibah - Bangkiang Sidem Trek
We
will transport you to the starting point of Ibah for this
unique trek, which is approximate a 15-minute drive from the
hotel. The duration of this trek is a relatively easy 45-minute
journey that takes in some of Ubud's most scenic landscape.
Along the way you will experience the natural beauty of the
Campuhan and Oos River valleys. You will travel past Balinese
home compounds and rice terrace vistas and be met by our driver
at the finishing point in a delightful area known as Bangkiang
Sidem.
Cycling Trips
Cycling Trips For a casual and entertaining way to
explore the surrounding village of Sayan or even Ubud, visitors
are welcome to use our 21 speed mountain bikes. Experience
the real Bali as you ride through a traditional village or
explore the maze of rice paddies that surround Sayan.
A fun and easy way to experience more of the rural Balinese
life is to cycle along the myriad paths through the villages
and rice paddies. This is one way to truly explore Ubud and
the surrounding country and get a better feel for the traditional
village atmosphere.
You have a real chance to interact with the
locals as you ply your way through villages and tilled fields.
Our guides can show you the hidden secrets of inner Bali or
you can explore the labyrinth of paths and roads meandering
through the layered rice paddies.
Excursions
Your Butler will readily assist you to arrange an itinerary of guided excursions
to any of Bali’s famous or secret sites either half day or full day trip. Our
experienced and local drivers will take great pride in sharing their knowledge
of the region with you. Selected itineraries are prepared to meet your interests
at ease.
Farming Educational Tour to Tabanan
Tabanan is known as the rice granary regency as it is the
biggest producer of rice on the island of Bali. The trip takes
around one and half hours driving time from Ubud. Tabanan
offers insight into traditional farming and its unique community
irrigation system. The excursion begins with a visit to a
dam, witnessing the agriculture co-operative society, cultivating
rice fields and seed planting. It is a thought provoking experience
that explores century-old practices that guests are privileged
to take part in. A delicious traditional Balinese luncheon
is also served around midday. The duration of this excursion
is four-hours and continues with a visit to the monkey forest
in Alas Kedaton as well as sightseeing to an ancient
sea temple called Tanah Lot for a wonderful sunset
whilst you enjoy afternoon refreshments (if weather permits).
Market Tour and Cooking Lesson
A visit to a Balinese traditional market will precede a cooking lesson that is set up in the
convenience of your own villa kitchen. Our Chef will accompany you on an eye-opening trip to
a vibrant market place to purchase all the fresh ingredients required. This special experience
offers true insight into the richness of Balinese daily life, culture and traditions as well
as the exceptional flavors of Indonesian cuisine. A certificate and recipes fact sheet will be
presented upon completion.

Beach Picnic
Nusa
Dua beach is located within a secluded enclave approximately
a 1,5-hour drive from Kayumanis Ubud Private Villa.
This tropical white sand beachfront is a scenic site to enjoy
a quiet gourmet picnic, swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing
under the sun. En-route to the beach your personal driver
will escort you for sightseeing to areas of your preference.
Limousine Services
Our 'at call' limousine service is available from 7 am to
11 pm. At a moment notice one of our exclusive air-conditioned
vehicles will be ready to deliver or pick you up free, anywhere
in the Ubud area. We can also arrange to drive you on more
extensive cultural and tourist tours.
Full Moon Dining Experience.
A full moon cycles every thirty five days according to
Balinese traditional calendar and it is considered as one of
the holiest days for Hindu followers to make special
offerings to the Gods and deities. Many temple ceremonies
are held on the full moon day. A full moon is a wonder of
nature phenomenon and offers romantic moments under the full
moon light to enjoy a dining experience in Balinese
traditional settings with white colors dominant, flags,
umbrellas, flowers, hundreds candles and Balinese
traditional music, rindik, plays. This reflects the
blessings of the holiest full moon light penetrating your
villa area for enlightenment. You will be dressed with
Balinese traditional attires for male and females in white
colors dominant.
New Moon Dining Experience
New moon falls every thirty five days according to
Balinese traditional calendar and it is also considered as
one of the holiest days for Hindu followers to make special
offerings to the Gods and deities. Some temple ceremonies
are also held on the new moon. The new moon of the ninth
month of Balinese traditional calendar is considered as the
holiest new moon of the year. New moon is also another
wonder of nature phenomenon and offers romantic moments in
the darkness and emptiness to enjoy a dining experience in
Balinese traditional settings with black colors dominant,
flags, umbrellas, flowers, hundreds candles and Balinese
traditional music, rindik, plays. This reflects the
emptiness is the holiest equilibrium, the night of spiritual
energy recharging for enlightenment. You will be addressed
with Balinese traditional attires for male and female in
dark colors dominant.
