as one of Bali's original all-villa properties, the gangsa is hidden away down a quiet back lane in the village of Sanur and is only a 2km journey form the gangsa's beach club in a white sandy beach front. It is resplendent of a traditional community composed of 11 private villa units featuring 1, 2 & 3 bedrooms.

each spaciously appointed villa is secluded with a charming landscaped compound higlighted by a personal swimming pool and Balinese lounging pavilion that exposes the delights of tropical outdoor living. the interior decor concept is inspired by the artistic heritage of Balinese people.

for centuries the Balinese have lived in family compounds throughout the island on parcels of land that are symbolic of their heritage and status within society. traditional Balinese architecture impiles that everything has a proper and proportionate space - a palce to eat, a place to sleep and a place to relax. the gangsa has adapted this unique concept to create a series of private villas where the art of living is free from the complication of the outside world.

the name 'gangsa' refers to the keyed instrument that plays the resonant melodies in a traditional Balinese orchestra. this choice of name is a conscious effort to preserve the island's vibrant culture through tourism.
