experience an authentic spiritual Balinese blessing ceremony, a daily Balinese villager’s ritual. this ritual is conducted early in the morning before the commencement of any other activity at local priest’s home compound in the neighborhood. the blessing ceremony will be followed by watching a traditional Barong Dance performance in the midst of morning breeze at Sanur area, endowment only at US$ 30++ per person including transport service.

join us for a mid morning journey that leaves the resort at 8.30 for an interactive tour of a typical Balinese rice field. learn the fascinating cultivation process of rice, which is the staple diet for most Indonesians. we also explore neighboring farm land where chocolate, coffee, pepper, bananas, papayas, coconut, lemongrass and galangal grow within the tropical landscape. this unique half day tour provides an insight into the rural side of Bali that many visitors rarely get to witness only at US$ 70++ per person.

learn culinary secrets from our chef. a one-day cooking course begins with a trip to a colorful traditional market. amidst the hustle and bustle select the finest ingredients that local vendors have to offer. we then return to your villa kitchen to prepare the recipe of your choice. discover the intriguing combinations of herbs, spices, sauces and marinades that produce the distinct flavors in our selection of gourmet meals. our chef will take to through every step culminating in a meal that you will never forget. US$ 70++ per person is applicable. recipes and a certificate are presented upon completion.

the experience of dressing up in traditional Balinese costume is captured with a personalized photo. a specialized dresser and photographer will come to the villa and choose your favorite angle of shots at our Balinese village environment. your picture will be ready before your departure. Only at US$ 42++ per person and US$ 21++ per child for children below 12 years of age.

complimentary daily afternoon tea/coffee with traditional Balinese cake and other Balinese traditional beverages is served in the privacy of your villa. every Monday and Friday, enjoy your afternoon tea at garden area of gong restaurant and bring home some practical knowledge of Balinese culture such as playing ‘gamelan’ and wearing Balinese costume or simply learn how to prepare how to prepare Balinese cakes.
