Kayumanis staff are extensively trained and are willing to make sure your every need is attended to and can assist in virtually any request you any have.

Hideaway Picnic Lunch
Located in Buahan Village, the hideaway picnic lunch is the perfect venue for those seeking a moment of peace and tranquility to discover the heart of rural Bali. A leisurely 45-minute drive through traditional Balinese villages and rice paddies, this exclusive Kayumanis picnic grove is a secluded, nature hideaway offering singular views of the mountain ranges of Abang, Batukaru, Puncak Bedugul, and Puncak Mangu and of the dense tropical forests of the Ayung River below.


Twilight Barbecue at Buahan Village
As the sun sets on the magical island of Bali, the Buahan Village becomes the perfect setting for a romantic interlude to begin. As a canopy of stars begins to be revealed, a Kayumanis chef prepares an exclusive and succulent BBQ dinner on site as the soothing sounds of traditional Balinese Rindik music plays in virtual harmony to the melodic chorus of Bali’s nocturnal fauna. Complemented with select wines and intimate company, this twilight barbecue may only be remembered as a fitting end to another day well spent.


Full Moon Dining Experience
The advent of the full moon is regarded as one of the holiest days requiring special offerings to the deities and gods among the Hindu faithful in Bali. Kayumanis offers the moon’s romantic radiance and its religious significance as a perfect moment to enjoy an authentic Balinese dinner. To take place within the privacy of your villa, your full moon blessing dinner is a predominantly white setting (to symbolize purity), customary flags, traditional umbrellas, tropical flowers, and hundreds of flickering candles. Tabanan is the rice granary regency of Bali and is a pleasant 1.5 hour drive from Ubud through the agricultural heartland of this amazing island. This excursion offers unique insights into centuries-old farming techniques and Bali’s unique community irrigation system. This relaxing journey of discovery includes a traditional Balinese luncheon, a visit to the Monkey Forest in Alas Kedaton, and cooling refreshments at the ancient seaside temple of Tanah Lot.


Market Tour and Cooking Lesson
Discover how to cook traditional Balinese fare the Kayumanis way. This unique learning adventure involves a visit to a traditional Balinese market to select the key ingredients you will need for your private cooking lesson with a Kayumanis chef in the convenience of your own villa kitchen. Our Chef will personally accompany you to a colorful and vibrant local marketplace to select and purchase everything you will require for the activity. The cooking lesson is guaranteed to enrich your home recipes and provide you with some memorable insight into the richness of Balinese daily life, culture and traditions.

Night Market
The Night Market tour is a remarkable opportunity to savor authentic traditional Balinese cuisine. This activity takes you to the Gianyar Regency’s night market which is famous for many delicacies such as suckling pig, smoked duck, or their many colorful iced desserts. Gianyar’s traditional night market is also a popular destination of the local populace for shopping, eating, or simply having a good “nite-out”. A visit is highly recommended to those eager to sample some truly amazing local cuisine and experience first-hand how the Balinese enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Balinese Offerings Making
Bali is renowned for its rich culture, artistic traditions, and a deep devotion to a Hindu ancestral heritage. Ibah - Bangkiang Sidem Trek
Ibah is a quaint rural village, a mere 15 minutes from Kayumanis Ubud, and is the starting point for this leisurely journey. The trek is a relaxed 45 minute walk that allows one to experience some of Ubud’s most scenic landscapes, traditional rice paddies, and the alluring beauty of the Campuhan and Oos river valleys. This remarkable excursion ends at another delightful rural village known as Bangkiang Sidem.



Ayung River Trek
The Ayung River Trek is a unique opportunity to explore the local community and to experience the tranquility and serene beauty of the countryside. This guided tour will take you through picturesque terraced rice fields as you make your way towards the gentle Ayung River and the quaint daily activities of the friendly locals upon its banks. The trek concludes in a distant part of the village where local artists have set up small galleries to display their craft and traditional paintings.


Cycling
We will provide you with bicycles if you wish to explore the natural beauty of the local village independently or accompanied by a Butler. Cycling through the rural country side and down hidden village lanes is the ideal opportunity to immerse you in the charming surroundings and experience first hand the timeless traditions of the Balinese people.

Beach Picnic
Nusa Dua beach is located within a secluded enclave approximately a 1,5-hour drive from Kayumanis Ubud Private Villa. This tropical white sand beachfront is a scenic site to enjoy a quiet gourmet picnic, swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing under the sun. En-route to the beach your personal driver will escort you for sightseeing to areas of your preference.
