Whether it is a traditional massage, cooking lessons, cycling or a romantic candlelit dinner it is the intention of Kayumanis villas to make your stay with us the most memorable of all your holiday retreats. Kayumanis staff are extensively trained and are willing to make sure your every need is attended to and can assist in virtually any request you have.
Beach Picnic LunchKayumanis also has the ideal venue for every sun worshipper. Located along the famed white sand beach stretches of Nusa Dua, Kayumanis Beach Picnic is a perfect opportunity to indulge in a relaxed gourmet picnic, to swim, snorkel, or simply luxuriate under the sun for that much sought after tan.
Rice Paddy TourJoin us for a mid-morning journey through a typical Balinese rural village and learn firsthand traditional methods of cultivating rice and other agricultural produce such as chocolate, coffee, bananas. This tour will also allow you to gain some personal insight into typical rural Balinese village life.
Market Tour & Cooking LessonDiscover how to cook traditional Balinese fare the Kayumanis way. This unique learning adventure involves a visit to a traditional Balinese market to select the key ingredients you will need for your private cooking lesson with a Kayumanis chef in the convenience of your own villa kitchen. Our Chef will personally accompany you to a colorful and vibrant local marketplace to select and purchase everything you will require for the activity. The cooking lesson is guaranteed to enrich your home recipes and provide you with some memorable insight into the richness of Balinese daily life, culture and traditions.
Afternoon TeaComplimentary afternoon tea is available everyday. Unwind with a relaxing chamomile or our refreshing Kayumanis tea in the privacy of your villa or at the main pool area, every Tuesday and Friday between 5 pm and 6.30 pm
Sunrise Breakfast at The BeachWelcome the dawn of a new day with a pleasant Kayumanis breakfast on the beach. Begin with a refreshing and peaceful walk along the shoreline and reward yourself with a picnic-style “feast” that will surely start your day on the best foot. Enjoy a brisk earl grey or indulge in our delightful cinnamon toast as you look forward to another exciting day on Bali.
Learning Balinese GamelanThe traditional musical instrument “Gamelan” is predominant in Balinese music. Typically, many of these unique percussion instruments are masterfully played together in close unison, timing, and precision. Rindik is a small gamelan which uses bamboo tubes of varying sizes and if played properly produces soothing hypnotic sounds. An expert musician is available on a weekly basis to teach our guests as Afternoon Tea is served by the Main Pool.
Temple TourSet atop an enormous limestone outcrop above the sea, the ancient Luhur Uluwatu temple is one of Bali’s ‘Sad Kahyangan’ – six temples of the heavens. A leisurely drive from Kayumanis, one may have the opportunity to visit one of Bali’s most revered spiritual destinations.
Kayumanis ClubThis cozy lounge is exclusively available to our Kayumanis guests and is a perfect venue to unwind and recount the day’s cultural experiences or shopping conquests. Indulge in a select collection of wines, brandy, and other refreshments or retreat to a private read from our library.
CyclingFor the more adventurous, bicycles are available for those who may wish to explore Nusa Dua on their own, or accompanied by a Kayumanis Butler. A brisk bicycle ride will bring you closer to the many other resorts and shops in the Nusa Dua complex, and also to better health.
Hideaway Picnic LunchLocated in Buahan Village, the hideaway picnic lunch is the perfect venue for those seeking a moment of peace and tranquility to discover the heart of rural Bali. A leisurely 45-minute drive from Ubud through traditional Balinese villages and rice paddies, this exclusive Kayumanis picnic grove is a secluded, nature hideaway offering singular views of the mountain ranges of Abang, Batukaru, Puncak Bedugul, and Puncak Mangu and of the dense tropical forests of the Ayung River below.
