Villa & Spa at Nusa Dua is delighted to announce
that its signature Italian restaurant, Piasan
is now open daily for lunch.
Inspired by the distinctive
character of Italian cuisine, Piasan
is an up-market dining environment that reflects the Kayumanis
approach towards style and visual appeal. The main dining
area is a minimalist space of clear glass that blends seamlessly
into a reflective pond. An alternative outdoor terrace accommodates
only a couple table settings for intimate dining occasions.
The clean lines of a dark marble floor and individual rods
of polished bamboo lining the ceiling make for an unusual
display of traditional elements with a modern nuance.
Executive Chef, Ketut Suisma, who trained with the
prestigious Aman Resorts, has created a concise a la carte
lunch menu that is focused on choice ingredient and
authentic Italian sauces. As a Balinese, Chef Ketut is
passionate about organic fresh vegetables that have been
nourished by the islands tropical rains and this is
incorporated into many of his regional Italian dishes.
Anticipating the fact the lunch the tropics is usually the
lightest meal of the day, Piasan
offers diners a selection of tasty starters that are not too
filling, followed by a delicious choice of pasta and pizza.
A typical lunch for two may consists of Ėnsalata Dė
Caprese (grilled tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella with
olive oil dressing) and then Taglėolėnė Verdė
AllAragosta (homemade fresh angel hair pasta with
lobster, tomato and cream).
There are also 7 thin crust Italian style pizzas to choose
from, including the house specialty Pizza Alla Pėasan
with a filling of sausage, ham, mushroom, asparagus,
spinach, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and orange cheese.
However, should a guest have any particular dietary
requirement or request a dish that is not featured on the
menu, Chef Ketut and his F&B team will be more than happy to
oblige where possible.
To conclude the Piasan
Italian luncheon experience there is a collection is
sumptuous desserts, including a decadent chocolate tart or
homemade ice cream that are simply too good to resist. A
fully stocked bar featuring cocktails, spirits and selection
of fine international wine complements every meal.
Kayumanis has set out to recreate the spirit of traditional
Italian home dining where exquisite food and social
interaction is a daily celebration. Now open for lunch as
well as dinner, Piasan
